The global union federation Public Services International joins Greek workers taking to the streets today in a general strike to protest the continued cuts to decent jobs and public services imposed by the ‘Troika’. In return for continued financial assistance, Greece has agreed to cut up to 40,000 public workers over the next two years.

Members of the PSI-EPSU Communicators' Action Network, an expert team of international labour journalists, recorded the last inside interviews with workers occupying Greek public broadcast stations, before the government violently raided and evicted the workers in early November 2013.

Established in 2011, the clinic has become a place of solidarity for the people of Greece who have been shut out and denied access to free healthcare. So far, the clinic has served more than 15,000 patients. Although the clinic is located in Elliniko, people travel from near and far to receive treatment.
